On December 24, 2018, H.E. Wang Wentian, the new Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, paid a courtesy call on Samdech Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Ambassador Wang appreciated the National Assembly and President Heng Samrin for their important contribution to the development of China-Cambodia relationship, especially exchanges and cooperation between legislative bodies, noting the China-Cambodia comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation will achieve new substantial development with joint efforts from both sides.

President Ham Samrin welcomed Ambassador Wang on his assumption of office. He noted that Cambodia would like to maintain close coordination with Ambassador Wang, Chinese embassy and China’s National People’s Congress, in order to jointly promote the Cambodia-China relationship to new level.
