Handover Ceremony of Chinese-aided Police Supplies Held in Phnom Penh

On March 16, the handover ceremony of police supplies provided by the Ministry of Public Security of China to the Commission for Combating Online Scams of Cambodia (CCOS) was held in Phnom Penh. Cambodian Senior Minister H.E. Sante Bandit Chhay Sinarith, and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wenbin attended and addressed the event.

According to Ambassador Wang Wenbin, the donation of police supplies from the Chinese side to the Cambodian side is yet another concrete step in implementing the outcomes of President Xi Jinping's state visit to Cambodia and strengthening China-Cambodian law enforcement cooperation against online scam. China is ready to work together with Cambodia to eradicate the scourge of online scam, and ensure that there is no place for this crime to hide in Cambodia, so as to create a favourable environment for protecting the two peoples and deepening cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
