Her Majesty the Queen Mother Celebrated the Spring Festival Together with the Diplomats of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia

On February 13, the 70th anniversary of the late King Father Norodom Sihanouk's first visit to China, Her Majesty the Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk visited the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, and celebrated the Spring Festival together with the diplomats from the Embassy.

Her Majesty the Queen Mother requested H.E. Ambassador Wang Wenbin to covey her New Year greetings to President Xi Jinping and Professor Peng Liyuan. Her Majesty expressed appreciation for China’s invaluable support for Cambodia’s national development and construction at various stages. Her Majesty also stated that the Cambodia-China traditional friendship has stood the test of the time and remains indestructible, and China has always been Cambodia’s most trustworthy ironclad friend.

Ambassador Wang said, the traditional friendship between China and Cambodia forged by the older generation of leaders of both countries is enduring and precious. The Chinese side will work together with Cambodia to implement the important consensus reached by President Xi Jinping and the leaders of Cambodia, carry on the baton of Cambodia-China friendship and ensure that the ironclad friendship is passed down from generation to generation.

Her Majesty enjoyed the performances by diplomats from the Embassy and teachers and students from the Duon Hoa School under a festive atmosphere.
