The First Meeting of the Cambodia-China Public and Private Sector Dialogue Held in Phnom Penh

On February 9, the first meeting of the Cambodia-China Public and Private Sector Dialogue was held in Phnom Penh. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia H.E. Sun Chanthol, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Wang Wenbin, and Minister Counsellor of Chinese Embassy in Cambodia Zhong Jie. It was also participated by representatives from seventy enterprises of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (CCCC), and government officials from thirteen Cambodian ministries. The two sides had frank and in-depth exchanges on resolving challenges faced by Chinese-invested companies in Cambodia, such as taxation, customs clearance, and labor.
