Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces Extended New Year Greetings to the Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia and Military Attache

On January 30, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Wang Wenbin, accompanied by Military Attache Sheng Dazhi, received Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces H.E. General Vong Pisen and other senior Cambodian military officers at the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia.

General Vong Pisen extended New Year greetings to Ambassador Wang, and to the Chinese side. H.E. reaffirmed the Cambodian government’s firm adherence to the one-China policy, and stated that no force can hinder or undermine the profound friendship between the two countries and the two militaries. H.E. also expressed heartfelt gratitude for China’s efforts over the past year in easing the tensions on the Cambodia-Thailand border, and in promoting exchanges and cooperation between the two militaries.
