Ambassador Wang Wenbin Attended the Handover Ceremony of the First batch of Emergency Humanitarian Aid Supplies Provided by the Chinese Government to Cambodia

On January 3, 2026, the handover ceremony of the first batch of emergency humanitarian aid supplies provided by the Chinese government to Cambodia took place in Banteay Meanchey and Battambang provinces. Cambodian Senior Minister H.E. Kun Kim and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Wang Wenbin attended the ceremony.

According to Ambassador Wang, ever since the outbreak of the Cambodia-Thailand border conflicts, China is the first country to provide assistance to Cambodia, and also the one that has provided the most assistance, testifying the ironclad friendship between China and Cambodia. The first batch of emergency humanitarian aid supplies arrived on December 28, 2025, the second batch will also arrive soon.
