The First Batch of Emergency Humanitarian Aid Supplies Provided by the Chinese Government to Cambodia Arrives in Phnom Penh

On December 28, the first batch of emergency humanitarian aid supplies provided by the Chinese government to Cambodia arrived at the Techo International Airport, which includes, among others, tents, blankets, and food. The ceremony was attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Wang Wenbin, Minister Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia Zhong Jie, and Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia H.E. Ung Rachana.

According to Ambassador Wang, the Chinese government has decided to provide RMB 20 million-worth of emergency humanitarian aid to the Cambodian government, which will be timely assistance for the Cambodian people affected by the Cambodia-Thailand border conflicts to overcome the current difficulties.
